27 Portraits in 27 Days 2019
During March and April 2019 Cara undertook a project in which she completed 27 portraits in 27 days. Each portrait sitting lasted four hours. In June, the sitters were invited back to see their portraits exhibited together, with photography by Louise Smith. See the portraits and photographs of the event here!
Recent Exhibits
Cara's paintings 'Paris (Second Evening)' and 'Molly and Ruby' are on display as part of the Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition 2019. The show is on until January 5th 2020. 'Paris (Second Evening)' was the winner of the Silver Medal Award for a work by a non-Academy member Sponsored by Tom Caldwell Installations.
Cara's portrait 'Molly and Ruby' (below) was shortlisted in The National Gallery of Ireland's Zurich Portrait Prize 2018.
